FPALR was honored to be in the Wauconda Memorial Day Parade. Lots of dogs available for adoption as well as alumni, were able to spend the day together playing and dodging the storms that threatened. But nothing was going to stop them from showing off what well behaved dogs they all are. Even with Pongo making sure he found every piece of candy on the streets that the kids didn't pick up or his playful character of wanting to roll in the wet grass, was going to stop the dogs from meeting and greeting the guests.
THANKS TO ALL THE GREAT VOLUNTEERS AND FRIENDS WHO HELPED TO GET THE DOGS OUT OF THE SHELTER FOR THE DAY. AND TO THOSE ALUMNI GREAT TO SEE YOU AGAIN
