Helping out animals is unconditional, and is deeply dependent on the strength of the GOOD that we have in ourselves. Animals are worth saving, and not all humans are capable of saving a precious life. The ones that contribute, sincerely, are happy and complete individuals. These are the individuals we want as part of our team.

Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is dedicated to saving dogs that are abandoned in shelters and animal control facilities and providing them a second chance to be adopted into loving families. Our staff is composed entirely of volunteers, people with families, jobs and animals of their own. We have no paid employees. Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is a not-for-profit, 501c3 charitable organization designated as such by the IRS.
Our dogs are the HEROES and our #1 priority! In addition, our adopters and foster families are special, because we understand that without you we would not be able to rescue these deserving dogs. We contribute to the community by placing dogs with good temperaments in special-needs homes, nursing homes, and special families.
