Poe School's Animal Expo "Every Dog Needs A Story" Drawing and Writing Contest
If you have a pet, you might have some very funny or touching stories about your animal. In most homes, animals are like another member of the family. And they should be! Sometimes, when Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue gets a call to help a dog, we don't have very much information about that animal. We may not know anything about the kind of life it had before it came to our rescue organization! And although we love our dogs, we can't always guess what they might be thinking. You can help us, because we believe . . . Every dog needs a story. Draw a picture and write a creative story about one of our "dogs for adoption." You can write about what the dog's life was like before it was rescued, the adventures it had, what it is thinking, or the new family it may find. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded for the following categories . . .
