It can then be emailed back to us at app@fortunatelabrescue.org and we will get back to you within a few days to complete the approval process.

Our rescued dogs are also:

  • tested for Heartworm
  • vaccinated for Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordetalla
  • microchipped
  • checked for fleas and treated with appropriate medication when necessary
  • checked for internal parasites and worms
  • spayed/neutered - Please note covers the cost of the spay or neuter, but certain clinics require blood panels prior to surgery, and/or medications afterwards. FPALR does not cover these additional costs.

Our rescued puppies are also:

  • vaccinated for Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordetalla
  • microchipped
  • checked for fleas and treated with appropriate medication when necessary
  • de-wormed
  • spayed/neutered - Please note covers the cost of the spay or neuter, but certain clinics require blood panels prior to surgery, and/or medications afterwards. FPALR does not cover these additional costs.

 
 
 
Please be aware that there may be expenses not covered by FPALR. For example, we do not pay for rabies tags. Also some adopters choose to bring their newly adopted animals to their own vet, which is not one of our Animal Care Providers. In this case, we are unable to reimburse for the costs of vetting. Since we are an all volunteer, registered, not-for-profit 501c3 charity organization, our Animal Care Providers offer our group special rates and or terms.
