Special Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who helped us create a happy ending story for our two injured Katrina girls, Jessie and Daisy. Both Lab girls had successful surgeries, and lucky little Jessie has been adopted by the wonderful Tomek Family of Wheaton! The Tomeks read about our two lab girls in the Daily Herald and made a generous donation to help us pay for their surgeries. Now Jessie, who is renamed Maggie, will share her happy future with them as their own little Lab girl. Little Daisy was adopted by the kind foster mom who nursed her back to health after her double-knee surgery.

So many wonderful people came together to help Jessie and Daisy. A huge thank you goes to Orthodogs' Silver Lining for their fundraising assistance and emergency medical grant. More thanks go to the Daily Herald newspaper, WBBM AM Radio, and CLTV for publicizing the story of our Katrina dogs' plight. And we are enormously grateful to the many people who made generous donations to help us pay our medical bills! Our labs send sweet wet doggie kisses too!
